TUFFSTUDY / WAITLIST

Privacy, in plain English.

Effective 13 July 2026

The short version

We use your name and email to hold your place and contact you about TuffStudy. Feedback is optional. We do not sell your information, run ads, or put names and emails into analytics.

1. Who is responsible

TuffStudy is a pre-launch education project operated by Aimar Delariberette from Spain. For privacy questions or requests, email tuffstudy.official@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

  • Your first name, last name and email address.
  • Optional feedback or suggestions you choose to write.
  • Your queue position and the date and time you joined.
  • A random session ID, broad viewport size, motion preference, video variant and basic waitlist interactions for first-party analytics.
  • Standard technical logs handled by our hosting and security providers, which can include IP address, browser information and request time.

Please do not put health information, school records, passwords or other sensitive details in the feedback box.

3. Why we use it

  • To save your place, recognise duplicate sign-ups and send the waitlist or beta updates you requested when you joined.
  • To read optional feedback and decide what TuffStudy should build first.
  • To understand whether the waitlist works and protect it from abuse or technical failures.
  • To meet legal obligations and respond to valid rights requests.

Our legal bases are taking steps you request by joining the waitlist, your consent for optional feedback and requested updates, and our legitimate interests in running a secure, reliable pre-launch service. You can withdraw from updates at any time without losing rights you already have.

4. Where it goes

Supabase stores the authoritative waitlist and first-party analytics. Notion receives an operational mirror of each confirmed sign-up so the founder can manage the Founding Class. Vercel hosts the website and API. These providers process information for TuffStudy under their own security and data-processing terms. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect people and the service.

Some providers may process information outside Spain, the EEA or the UK. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share it with data brokers or advertisers.

5. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details while TuffStudy is preparing and running its early-access programme. We will delete them when you ask, when the waitlist is abandoned, or no later than 12 months after TuffStudy becomes generally available unless you become a user or we need a limited record for legal or security reasons. First-party analytics are reviewed and removed or aggregated after 12 months. Provider backups can take a short additional period to expire.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent. You can unsubscribe using any TuffStudy email or contact us directly. We may need to confirm that the email address is yours before completing a request.

You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at aepd.es, or to the data protection authority where you live. There is no automated decision-making or profiling that affects your waitlist place.

7. A note for younger students

TuffStudy is designed with teenagers in mind, so this notice is meant to be readable without legal training. The waitlist is intended for students aged 14 or over. If you are under 14, ask a parent or guardian to join on your behalf. If anything here is unclear, speak to an adult you trust before submitting your details.

8. Analytics, cookies and security

The waitlist does not use advertising cookies. It stores one random ID in your browser's session storage, which disappears when that browser session ends. Analytics records never include your name, email or feedback. We use access controls, encrypted connections, private database credentials and restricted admin access, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this notice if the waitlist's data use changes. Important changes will be shown here and, where appropriate, sent by email. Questions and rights requests can be sent to tuffstudy.official@gmail.com.
